Logo Design Brief

We have formed a team to compete at the European nationals coming up in October in Ibiza.

The Team name is "Infinity Spin"

Background:
This was a catchphrase used for a "teething problem" (an early problem) that a new flight controller was having in one of its earliest versions. (the multicopter would tend to begin spinning out of control if a certain condition occurred & not be able to recover).
In the meantime, this particular flight controller has resolved this problem and gone on to become one of THE favorites for the hobby (Kiss by Flyduino) in record speed, in Germany, at least.

So, not only do we like the name, we also like the symbolism (overcoming obstacles, rising up, etc. the usual Rocky or Karate Kid story)
Our team has been put together "just for fun", but we also want to do it right. There will be a lot of marketing done with the logo (Advertisements, jersey's, hats, etc.) and we want to have it be simple, but unique; in that you recognize the logo w/o also having to read the text/team name.
I do, however, believe the team name should be integrated into the logo, but it doesn't have to.
The team is made up of 4 Germans and a Swiss guy.
We are all flying using the above mentioned flight controller.
We want the logo to be sophisticated but "cool", too.
I think it would make sense to add the infinity symbol into the design (but it is in no way a must).

The world of FPV Racing is relatively new. Nonetheless it is quickly taking-off in a big way. Think Team logo for racing sports meets logo for brand names.

The logo needs to be able to be printed for large and small surfaces, while still being distinguishable.

Attached are random samples of other teams and brand logos that are also involved in the hobby.
These are only to give ideas and should not be interpreted as limits.
