Logo Design Brief

Rental property that needs a sign posted. I'd like to have a nice image to put on the sign and other items in the home. The property is located in Santa Cruz and near a beach and harbor. See https://beach-houserentals.com/140-5th-avenue for inspiration on location and ambiance. This needs to be a vector graphic that can scale up to a small sign that will be posted on the home, and down to a letterhead. We don't have strict guidelines on the logo, but birds, nautical theme, surf, ocean, lighthouses, boats, marine life (both real and factious), and abstract logo are all in play right now.

Requirements

Must have

• Logo must be scalable, clearly visible on letterhead and still look good blown up on a sign that will be posted on the house.
• If design is not monochromatic, it must be easily translatable to monochromatic.
• Ordinance requires the sign must have a phone number, and the design must look good when accompanied by a phone number printed below.

Nice to have

• We don't have strict guidelines on the logo, but this is a beach house rental next to a boardwalk and harbor. So, birds, nautical theme, surf, ocean, lighthouses, boats, marine life, beach balls, sand castles, beach toys, family fun, and abstract logos are all in play right now. If the designers have other ideas, we're open to considering them. We just want it to look appealing to a general beach/boating audience that will be walking by.
