Business Card Design Brief

Hi, I'm trying to come up with a creative design for my business card. I have a small shop that is launching in a few weeks called "bligh & guy" (not the actual name, but should be close enough), and I will be selling handmade bow ties, ties, pocket squares, cuff links, tie bars, etc. Later we will move into actual apparel and possibly women's clothing and home decor.

We are focused on social impact (a large percentage of our profits go to charity), fair wages (profit sharing with our employees), local hand-made high-quality products.

I want a business card that conveys these aspects, and also strongly captures someone's attention when I hand it to them. I want the card to be so amazing, that people Pinterest / Instagram it and hand it out to their friends. I will include a card with every purchased product, so I need for it to be top-notch.

Target Market(s)

For now, males who enjoy style (cotton / linen bow ties, ties, pocket squares, etc.) or their better-halves. Later the target market will be anyone who appreciates vintage-looking, high quality, hand-made apparel and decor.

I would like the card to embody a bow tie or tie in some way, I could even tie a small fabric one on the front, though I've seen another shop do that and I don't want to copy. I've also thought through the idea of having the card shaped like a bow tie (I have a company that can die-cut the cards). Or possibly a mustache shape, or a guy on the front with a fabric mustache instead. But don't let those comments skew your design, I'm looking for creativity.

I've attached my logo, I'm using font "RM Typerighter old". Google it. Not necessary to use this though.

Requirements

Must have

• I don't want much on the card, just:
• the logo
• that my products are handmade in the usa
• the website address www.blighandguy.com
• and somewhere on the back for me to hand-write a referral code for a discount
• Prefer a natural look. Think canvas or the color of kraft paper.
• The design should communicate: vintage, manliness, handmade, high-quality, natural, simple.

Nice to have

• A spot for me to place actual fabric. I will have to do this part by hand, but I want the reaction to the card to be "WOW, this took a lot of effort!", and I think a touch of fabric may help do that.

Should not have

• Bright colors
• A normal business card look
• Gloss
• Modern aspects
• Capital letters
