Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a our Artificial Intelligence software development company - called Icontek.

We produce the core software engine that helps computers understand humans when they talk or type - just like Apple Siri. This area of AI technology is called Natural Language Processing (or NLP for short).

Our company mission is to help make human interaction with computers/machines as seamless and easy as possible. We are helping create a future where we don't need to use a mouse and keyboard, or even touch, since there are much easier options possible.


The core customers (for the first few years) will be big companies that have large call centers.

For example, think of when you call the bank, and you hear "push 1 for English, push 2 for...". Our software is meant to replace these kind of voice and dialtone based navigation systems with something much easier and more pleasant for customers.

We attached the temporary logo from Icontek as a sample, but please do not do something similar.

Target Market(s)

Companies who have large customer service call centers (like banks, insurance companies, and retailers).

In the future, our target market will include many kinds of consumer electronic and software companies (not just call center technology).

Requirements

Must have

• COMBINATION OF WORD + ABSTRACT LOGO (like the most car companies, with the brand name itself, and a smaller symbol/icon logo). For example, look at the samples from Microsoft, Lexus and Genesys.
• MEANING:
• - why the logo can be abstract, it should somehow represent our company mission of making Human+Machine interaction as easy and as seamless as possible.
• LOOK & FEEL:
• - Simplicity
• - Distinctiveness
• - Credibility
• FLEXIBILITY:
• - Black-and-White
• - Color
• - Small and Large (logo is still clear when printed small)

Nice to have

• The word Icontek can be written in 2 different ways, either with a capital "I" or small "i" (e.g. Icontek vs. icontek).
• Please note: The word "Icontek" is the name of our company. In the future, we might need to put the names of our products next to it. For example, think of how Microsoft sometimes has the Microsoft and Office logo together.

Should not have

• Please note: the name of the company is Icontek, and the meaning comes from
• I + Contact + Technology (not Icon + Technology), so please do not emphasize "Icon" as a word.
