Also no guarantee means less chances of getting any payment even if we work hard....
please think again about this as this is no fair deal for any designer so how can I work on this??

thanks for the invite. but sorry. i do not take on projects that the owner hasn't guaranteed payment. its just not fair to the designers that you can just walk away after they have put in work on your behalf.

AND your budget is WAY too low for design and coding. you'd need to be in the $750-$1000 range before i'd even consider it.

Hi By w92n - totally agree with you about not guaranteeing payment. With the other project we had on design crowd, as soon as we saw there was going to be at least one design we were happy with, we guaranteed the payment, which definitely increased the number of the designs we received, and it was one of the later designs that we ended up selecting.

However, with the website, this is the second time its gone out to the market. The first time, every design we received looked like it had been cut from the same Square Space template with a few pictures of planes added. Accordingly we were boxed into a corner where we weren't going to guarantee payment when everything we received looked like every SquareSpace website we'd ever seen. We've been convinced (by Design Crowd), to open it up again, but what we saw the first time round was uninspiring.

Maybe this has to do with the budget, and that it's too low. However, we're talking about a five page website that needs no interactivity whatsoever; no sales, no blog, no comments section. It's not exactly a coding challenge.

it does have everything to do with both the budget. and the chosen venue.

sure your site needs may not be super high-end. but your expectations and intent of what you do with it ARE.
do you price your services simply by the cost to do them? no. of course you don't. that's completely unsustainable from a business perspective. you price your service on the value it brings. and the time it took you and your team to acquire those skills.

you think you're here saving money by crowdsourcing. but how much money have you wasted in time. sorting through piles of garbage. only to wind up with nothing you like. i'd wonder if you'd been better off simply contracting the right resource, paying them by the value they bring. and working with them Iteratively to get EXACTLY what you want?

Thanks for your invitation. But before start we want to clear something. First of all this project is non guaranteed and we generally do not participate in non guaranteed project.

Second most important thing is budget. As per your budget either you may have home page psd design with its HTML/CSS or you may have 5 page PSD design only.
Development of this website is a different issue.
