Logo Design Brief
About us:
We are launching a new leadership assessment and development consultancy in 2012.
This niche consultancy will help corporate and government organisations deliver results by selecting and developing leaders who are capable of undertaking senior-level complex and challenging roles.
We will achieve this through a new and unique methodology based on our recent empirical research in the field of neuroscience and personality.
We are a team of business consultants and psychologists who operate from Sydney, Australia. Our key client decision makers are strategic-level executives who are looking for practical results-focused solutions.
The brief:
We need a company name, logo and tag line.
The company name must consist of no more than two words, must be readily identifiable with what we do (see 'About us' above), easy to pronounce and remember, and must not be an already registered domain.com (or domain.com.au) name.
The logo must appeal to strategic or senior-level executives in an Australian government or corporate organisation. It should be conservative yet contemporary and not become quickly outdated. It must portray the values of trust, confidence and confidentiality. In addition, it must communicate achieving tangible business results underpinned by strong empirical research.
The tag line must reinforce the logo by communicating a vision of what our unique solution can deliver to the client. It should be no more than five words long and use action oriented language.
Styles, fonts and colours should reflect those acceptable to government and corporate organisations.
Updates
Hi all designers, Thanks for your enthusiasm and energy in tackling this challenge to create a name, logo and tagline for our new company. Here is some feedback that may assist in fine-tuning your designs: Good luck, I’m looking forward to reviewing some more designs in the next few days. Cheers, MC
The design must describe our capability or the results that we achieve versus something generic (eg. consulting, building relationships, advisory, etc) – essentially we assess the capability of leaders/executives to perform effectively in more challenging, ambiguous and high-pressure roles. We are not a training, recruitment or executive search company
We are high-level advisors to CEOs, Presidents and VPS who are trying to make the ‘right decision’ on who to hire or promote into one of these high-pressure roles – therefore we aim to provide a process that delivers confidence, reassurance and ‘piece of mind’ that they have made the ‘right’ decision
Our process/solution utilises the very latest in neuroscientific research as well as building on our extensive leadership assessment and advisory track record with government and corporate clients
Some key words that reflect our solution includes: ‘potential’, ‘leadership’, ‘executive’, ‘assessment’, ‘capability’, ‘high-potential’
The name must be something that can be used in a domain name that’s not already registered – some ones that fit this criteria at present include: High Potential and High Potential Leaders – although I’m sure someone will come up with something that might also reflect this theme
