Logo Design Brief

We are creating a new website - kiwidad.co.nz. The website will have helpful tips and articles from DIY to helping kids learn to tell the time, focusing on modern fathers raising families in New Zealand. We would like a very simple but modern style logo, that can also be easily used or modified as an icon for online things like youtube, chrome header etc. We would like to see a kiwi or stylized kiwi somewhere in it too (check out the kiwi made logos). We are open to colors, we don't have a color scheme yet. Bold would be great, rather than soft colors.
