Logo Design Brief

OVERVIEW: Professional logo needed for a downtown Austin, TX dog walking and pet services called Guardian Pet Services. The logo should reflect my personal love and caring for animals while catering to high end pet services. It needs to evoke a warmth to the design.

COLORS: I have definite thoughts on colors and some basics for the logo (see attached file). Colors must be a dark blue, a lavender and orange. The logo needs to look good on a white background and a background (reversed-out). As well as possibly a lavender, orange or blue background. The logo should have no more than 3 colors regardless of the background and can incorporate white or black into the design, if needed to pop on a black or dark background. The logo colors should also be able to be printed in a grayscale.

LOGO: The company name, logo and website should be clear and easy to read from a distance if placed on a shirt as 4 inch by 4 inch (10 x 10 centimeters).

The logo that is attached is what I have in mind but is a rough depiction from a quality standpoint. The thought of a caring hand, however a somewhat thinner one, cradling a dog and a cat is the primary theme. The dog and the cat outline should be more defined rather than abstract. I also like the idea of the leash being incorporated as well, maybe not with a perfect loop (don't want it to look like a noose). Where the company name, Guardian Pet services, and the URL, www.seaholmdogwalking.com, go and the text font, size and shape are open. The final logo needs to be produced and delivered in the following formats: .eps, jpg, .gif and .tiff and of course a full colored, CMYK file.

Nice to have

• Would like to have a favicon created to display on the browser URL bar. It should be 16 pixels by 16 pixels with a .ico format. No wording is needed for the favicon.
