Background
I have three children, one girl and two twin boys. From a very early age the boys suffered from skin ailments that left them constantly itching and being exceptionally red and in discomfort. srg is an all-natural handmade cream that I developed for my children.
The ‘srg’ are the initials of each of my children’s first names and the initials also represent the qualities also relate to the qualities of the products I have developed – soothing, replenishing and gentle when applied to the skin.
The cream has been developed at my home and assists skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis etc. The cream alleviates redness, soreness and itchiness and provides relief where traditional products cannot. I have many testimonials that talk about the wonderful relief my product brings to them and quite often they will use my product after having tried everything else (medical and topical solutions) and are amazed at the results.
I am a hairdresser by trade and my salon and local markets in my area are the main avenues I sell my products. The product is currently gaining momentum via these channels and I am currently looking into expanding into on-line environment.

Type of products
Srg cream – this is the original product and is the cream that is used for the skin conditions. These creams are currently sold in all white (top and bottom) round screw top plastic containers in the following sizes; 70 gm container 45mm label and 130 gm container 60 mm label all of these are circular labels
Lip balms – using the original all-natural concept but in a lip balm – these balms are available in mango and vanilla and come in 5 gm size.or 25mm container
Body wash – 125 ml containers each container has its own identity name regarding to its properties and smell.I will be considering having logo design similar to the cream later on depending on the success of the cream ,so keep in mind this when designing the original logo if it would be suitable for all by products
Target Audience
Interestingly the product covers a wide range of people and whilst the primary reason for people wanting the product is because of their various skin conditions, I am finding people also like the secondary benefits of the product ie all-natural etc. The product is used by males and females alike, children, adults and the elderly.
The product is currently retailed in a higher socio-economic area; however the product is exceptionally good value for money.
Logo uses
The final logo design will need to be adaptable for multiple uses:
• Packaging – examples of sizes above – note the general sticker sizes that are placed onto these packages are:
o 45mm circle
o 60 mm circle
o 25mm circle

• must be able to connect with a trendier crowd (due to retail environment) yet not isolate the older more conservative clientele I currently have
• consideration given to the size of the smallest product and the ability for the logo to adapt and be recognisable across all
• full colour or spot maybe some blue or green unisex colours ill leave that to designers no pink
• I also need maybe a pdf format for printer with a 3mm bleed from outside circle and clear text format
• These are all circle labels 45 mm,60mm and 25mm
• If it is possible to be able to add in weight to correspond with label size etc 45mm is 70 gm size and 60mm is 130gm size is this possible if not lets start with the 70gm size as our main size initially?

- i have covered all the mandatories in brief please read also all labels done as circle sizes are listed 45mm 60 mm 25mm sizes with a pdf format and a 3mm bleed allowance for printing purposes colours unisex no pinks i will leave to designer as to pictures or just text as long as it looks modern and text is bold enough to stand out maybe some blues or green represents calm is a must also weight must be included 70gm or if is possible to change the weight when being printed but if not focus on the 45mm 70 gm size the weight must be displayed somewhere as is soothing replenishing and gentle needs to be stated.
