The new company goes by the name of IoThrive. "IoT" is a widely adopted acronym for the Internet of Things. The idea would be that you would "plant" your Internet of Things devices in our platform, and watch your IoT business thrive as a result.
The overall site/brand will have a very mechanical/industrial feel to it with sharp, geometric lines and a Google Material Design feel. Something along these lines:

I am pretty well set on the concept for the logo, just don't know how to execute it. As we are going with the plant analogy, I would like to see a logo with a mechanical plant (with a bloom of IoT device(s)) growing out of the ground (which would be analogous to our platform).
For larger versions of the logo, could potentially even use the letters in IOTHRIVE to supply the 'roots' to the mechanical plant. Or maybe just IOT for smaller versions.

- Would really like to ensure that the IOTHRIVE platform is the 'fertile soil' in which customers (Internet of Things developers, think software/hardware engineers) 'plant' their things, and then watch their IoT business 'thrive'.
