Logo Design Brief

You can see all our offers at www.EarlyMoments.com. We offer children's book clubs for Dr. Seuss, Disney, Sesame Street and Baby Einstein and we own and operate Hooked on Phonics.

We have decided to change the endorser brand from Early Moments to Lumenberry, a made-up word that we feel does a better job making us unique and conveying what we are. We need a logo to accompany the name Lumenberry.

We market 100% digitally and are a mobile-first designer so it's critical that our new logo looks good both at full size and full color but also that it is fully responsive and even looks good when it's just knocked out of a header in white. You'll see what I mean in the attachments. These are some early efforts that we don't love, but they will show you directionally what we need to do. There are two files, each contains the same 14 attempts. One shows them full size and full color, the other shows the same 14 in the default "endorser brand" position in the upper left of our page. Ideally, your submission will show us both these same options.

Target Market(s)

Young families, particularly Moms. However, we don't want to limit the logo design to just young families because we plan to expand our products into some adult categories like puzzle books.

Requirements

Must have

• Fully responsive, as described above. A type treatment and logo design as in the files I've uploaded. Must show placement of our tagline "Enriching Young Minds" but the logo could appear without the tagline in some cases. It would be great to see what it looks like with and without the tagline.

Nice to have

• Not too abstract and not too "in your face". For example, there is one treatment in the examples that is berries but that was too trite for us.
