Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a simple, recognizable, and modern design that includes the use of color (we would prefer to stay away from pinks and purple color variations). Perhaps 2 or 3 colors at most for the full logo design. We would prefer that the logo to look good in black or white. We are looking for a design that incorporates the words “Smart Lift” but could be used without the text and still be identifiable. We would like to try and fuse the overhead lifting (cranes, construction etc) industry with advanced computer and “Smart” technology into this logo design. We would like this logo design to reflect strength within our industry but also have the overall feel of being in control and being safe. As stated before we would like to have the option to include the text Smart Lift into the logo in a modern & edgy designed font – something similar to cafe nero m54 but not identical. We are also fond of the use of negative space design.

Requirements

Must have

• The logo must be somewhat technical. Related to smart/advanced technology. Must say Smart Lift, but should also look good without text (Unless logo is only a design of the text.

Nice to have

• Would be nice to try and incorporate old types of technology for our industry. Cranes, hooks, slings, etc. This is not a must have, but we would like the logo to look resemble technology. We also like the look of logos that incorporate negative space.

Should not have

• Pinks/purples. too much text.
