Logo Design Brief

We are exploring updating the logo for Hooks Book Events, a woman-owned small business that delivers inspiring, engaging and educational book events for government agencies, companies and nonprofits.

Hooks Book Events connects authors of new, non-fiction books with audiences seeking to learn about new topics and perspectives. Hooks Book Events are more memorable than typical corporate training programs because participants get to meet and speak with the authors of concepts.

Hooks Book Events will also be giving back to communities with the help of their clients to sponsor bridge building events, where author events and free books will be donated to local communities that may not otherwise have access to them.

Requirements

Must have

• Must show the logo both with and without the tagline: Infuse Ideas Everywhere
• Orange is a favorite color of the Hooks Book Events team. We would like to explore what other colors go with orange that can communicate the corporate brand.
• The logo should emphasize "book events" over "hooks"

Nice to have

• Hooks Book Events likes the stack of books they use on their website. An element of the logo could have a stack of books or other icon that relates to the brand.
• It would be nice for the "Book Events" part of the company name and logo to feature more prominently, to let people what we do.
