Podcast Design Brief

Hi Designers/partners-in-crime!

We are a Panamanian and a Peruvian journalist who have started a podcast and multimedia project called Pixvae Radio, which aims to narrate (in Spanish) unexplored Central American stories. Now we need your talent to help us launch it: we need a logo!

To understand the name of the podcast, you must know that although written differently, the "pixbae" is the fruit of a tropical palm that grows in Central America. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, some of its species are in danger of extinction.

It is a very valuable fruit, and it is important for us to differentiate its shape and colors from that of a strawberry, a pepper, a mango, a tomato, etc.

On the other hand, "Pixvae" is a Panamanian beach town that is not easy to reach and many people have never heard of. This represents the type of stories we seek to tell – hard to reach, unheard of, yet valuable.

We would like our logo to incorporate the fruit and also any radio tool or part such as a microphone.
