Hair Republique is a hair salon. We have a personality statement on our website which should give you a sense of who we are (http://www.hairrepublique.com/About-Us.html) and how we're different from a regular salon. In short we're a salon for everyone, no hair stylists with big ego's, no overpriced services, but not losing the trimmings or the service.

Requirements

Must have

• Our logo needs to be easily replicated in a variety of mediums from shop front bulkhead signage, to a vinyl car wrap, client cards, website, posters/banners, loyalty cards, etc. So it needs to be bold enough to remain easily identifiable even when used in different sizes and environments. We would also like the ability to re-produce the logo in black and white without losing the effect that a colour version may have.

Nice to have

• We are open to all ideas. Please take a look at our personality statement to get a sense of who we are.

Should not have

• We don't want the logo to feature "traditional" hairdressing elements unless they're presented in an artful way. No shampoo bottles, no razors, no overstyled looking silhouettes, etc. The word "hair" should give enough direction to our potential clients as to what industry we are in.
