3D Design Brief

WE NEED A 3D CONCEPT DRAWING OF A PLAYGROUND THAT IS BUILT SUSPENDED UNDER AN EXISTING BUILDING.
IT IS TO BE MADE UP OF A SERIES OF PODS WITH DIFFERING ELEMENTS ON EACH POD (MESH PANELS, TIMBER PANELS, ROPE PANELS) AND CONNECTING TUNNELS ALSO USING A COMBINATION OF MATERIALS. THE FINAL DESIGN IS TO PRODUCE A CHALLENGING CLIMBING EXPERIENCE IN A SPACE THAT HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO BE UTILISED BEFORE BUT STAYS WITH THE PLAYGROUND SAFETY STANDARDS.

Requirements

Must have

• A broad appeal to parents and children, it has to look fun and challenging. Using materials like rope nets and tunnels, fine mesh panels and timber panels. Each pod using elements of these products but no two the same.
• Very important is the pods that are close to ground level (anything under 2.5m) must not be able to be climbed from the out side of the pods. Once above 2.5m they can't reach to climb. We are building to Australian Playground standards hence the measurements.
