Logo Design Brief
I am looking for a designer to make their mark on the excavation and construction industry. It's an industry that has historically had very bland and boring logos and marketing and I hope to change that and become a local market leader, which all starts with this logo.
Attached is my original logo which I would like to have updated. It is a bit flat and unfinished looking for my liking. The logo's main placement will be on the side of white trucks and yellow equipment along with social medial platforms.
Target Market(s)
My target market will be custom home builders as well as home owners. I want something that is distinct and memorable.

Must have
- A large star that I can use to brand equipment without script so someone driving by can see the logo and know who is working on the project without having to read a name.
Nice to have
- I like the style of font used in my original logo, but I would like to have some color added somehow and more contrast
Should not have
- It can't look cartoon like. It must be a strong, masculine design for the market that I will be working in.
