Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a company called Cement Squared. It is an encaustic (cement) tile company. Our product is made by hand (not by machine!) by master craftsmen for customers across the Americas and Europe. Our tile is in historic estate homes, luxurious coastal resorts, swanky Hollywood hotels, cutting edge Airport lounges and up and coming bars and restaurants. With vivid colors and striking designs, this ancient art is coming back in style in a big way and we are here to modernize it. This logo will be used on our new website and marketing material (both web and paper based). The final design should communicate savvy and artful design. Our customers are interior designers, architects and construction companies. This tile is very colorful and we like to see creative and innovative designs. Jump out of the box!

• Imagery of a square shaped tile. Our theme is the shape of a square. Would like to see options with and without the mathematical symbol for "squared" incorporated into the text design. So example: Cement ^2 or Cement Squared ^2.
