Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my new company. This online business is a personal, unsociable place where individuals can upload their pictures, journals, videos and music for keepsake for years to come. The nostalgic feel to it is what is important when it comes to the color scheme and logo design.This site also provides emails to be sent in the future that can house pictures or videos for a cost. This enables them to send letters to themselves or, to release emails to loved ones and friends once they have passed on- such as a grandmother having letters sent to her grand children on birthdays and holidays for as long as she wishes in their future once she has passed on. So this logo needs to help with that security feeling of home, away from the social networks, a nostalgic feel that when they look back, it brings all of those great emotions back to them.

Nice to have

• Would be nice to have a smaller basic scaled down version for the app feature to be on tablets and phones. Idea is maybe emphasizing the Y. Highlights or give it life. Some said maybe a person with their hands up in the air, others said a tree. I don't want common or nature. Just give it a unique appeal but not deter away from the nostalgic feel.

• Not much into cursive writing logos or bold university style logos.
