Logo Design Brief

To create a fresh logo for my hotel business in Greece. It is by the sea and mainly a summer vacation destination although it is open all year. In the older logo there was a palm tree, some waves and the sun. I am open to new ideas but I have decided to go with something more professional and serious. In general I am a fan of minimalism, although I would definitely consider anything that I find interesting enough.
