Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new Environmental NGO based in New Zealand called the Environment Foundation.
The primary focus of the Foundation is on providing high quality environmental information and training to enable people to participate more effectively in decisions affecting New Zealand’s natural environment. It is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity.
Our initial projects include an online Guide to Environmental Law and Management that will be free to access and easy to use for the general public. We are also developing a series of workshops focused on NZ's environmental legislation and policy and opportunities for participation. Both resources will require no prior legal knowledge.
The logo needs to be able to be utilised for our letterhead and website banner.
We are very fortunate to have inherited a wonderful natural environment in New Zealand and we would like our logo to reflect that.
We are a professional organisation and the logo must reflect that.
It is important that the logo is not cliche. e.g. New Zealand icons such as the kiwi and silver fern.
We are associated with the Environmental Defence Society (www.eds.org.nz). We would like a logo that is more creative than the current EDS logo.
We think the NZ Forest & Bird logo (www.forestandbird.org.nz) has a nice look and feel.
