Jason Calacanis is looking for a new logo design for his website / blog: Calacanis.com

As background, Jason Calacanis is a leading American Internet entrepreneur, blogger, podcaster and investor based in San Francisco (but originally from New York).

Jason has invested in 150 startups, including Uber, Thumbtack, and Wealthfront. Jason also hosts the ‘This Week in Startups’ podcast (thisweekinstartups.com) and the world’s largest startup conference ‘The LAUNCH Festival’ (launchfestival.com).

On Calacanis.com, Jason blogs about entrepreneurship, investing, technology and his various ventures.

Here is some additional background ...

Must Have:
- The logo must include "Calacanis.com”. Alternatively, it could say "Calacanis" or "Jason Calacanis".
- The logo must work well on Jason’s website: calacanis.com
- Unique and high quality design. No templates, clipart or stock please.

Should Have:
- Logos should be presented flat on a plain white background.
- The logo should be modern in style. It could also attempt to capture themes of entrepreneurship and technology.
- The logo should fit nicely with existing brands Jason is involved with (www.thisweekinstartups.com and www.launchfestival.com).

Could Have:
- The logo could be text only (a wordmark) or it could include an illustration of Jason or something that fits with Jason’s ventures and areas of expertise (in particular, entrepreneurship and technology).
- The design could incorporate the image of a bulldog, to reflect Jason’s approach to business.
