Logo Design Brief
G.R.A.Y. is a rapper who needs a logo designed for his name. It needs to be a completely original text/design made exclusively for G.R.A.Y. If you google images for Kings of Leon's logo (the grungy looking one), this is along the lines of what we are looking for. you will see the simplicity yet originality we are looking for. The logo should be clear to read but we would like it to be a little rugged and gritty to fit with G.R.A.Y.'s lyrical content and style. We would like to see a few different designs. Use your creativity and see what you can come up with.
Description of G.R.A.Y.'s style just in case it helps with design:
He uses witty metaphors to explain the realities of life and situations in general. He displays many sides of himself which are quite contradictory, as humans are. He represents the average young male in America coming up dealing with poverty, substance abuse, and trying to find their place in the world.

Reason: To all designers. We feel that most of the submissions are mostly just different versions of fonts, which isn't bad, because some of them are great designs. But what we are looking for here is a logo that will work throughout this artist's career as his trademark design. See "Nas" or J.Cole" they're logos will stick with them throughout time. If we can get some more submissions on this wavelength then the winner will be chosen very shortly. I believe everyone is on the right path, we just need a little tightening up of things.
