Logo Design Brief

Brand: Izba

Description: The business is a deserts cafe in Sydney offering Russian style pastries, cakes and east European deserts. The name Isba means a Russian cottage/hut, made of wooden logs. The interiors of cafe reflect the specific wooden pattern of the logs finished in modern interpretation of Rustic and Retro look that is comforting to the guests. The target customers at the cafe location are Asian and Anglo-Saxon Australians who enjoy beautifully presented delicious deserts with the novelty element of Russian/East European style.

What I want:
The brand name “Izba” (or IZBA) must be reflected in the logo
The logo may contain words “Russian Deserts”
The logo must be simple – can be easily put on a cap/t-shirt
The logo must be bold and characterful
The logo must have a distinctive Russian element (see below for examples)
The logo may have colours that raise appetite: Red (not aggressive shades), yellow, orange in tasteful combination with other colours

What I don't want:
busy, colour blocking, trying too hard to be Russian. No USSR or communism symbols/references.

The logo may contain modern interpretation of one or two Russian elements to give it Russian character (not too many!).
