Logo Design Brief

We want to update our current logo to include a "shield of sorts" like NHL shield or 1980 US Hockey team, with ASB initials in the middle overlapping similar to a Louis Vuitton LV over lap with "of AZ" tagged below. We want to incorporate this logo off to the side of our current logo or incorporate it into, since that is the national brand logo. The primary reason is to have a simple statement "logo" that we can use for embroidery on to sleeves of polo shirts hats, mugs etc and just use the tagline "putting the people back into the people business". This "shield" as we are in the financial services and insurance business needs to make a bold statement. We'd like to use the same coloring.
