Logo Design Brief
I need a logo design for my pet photography business, Kate and Dog Photography, to be used on promotional materials, my website and as a watermark on photographs.
I take high quality, bespoke, fine art photographs of dogs (and sometimes cats and horses) out and about (no studio stuff). You can see examples of the photographs at www.katewalksdogs.co.uk in the gallery section(I am in the process of building a separate website for the photography business).
I'm looking for something quite quirky but at the same time high-end. I love the hand drawn look on logos, and logos that look like handwriting, or possibly old fashioned typing. The key is to have something that looks arty, joyful and approachable, but at the same time elegant and simple - as it will need to be used as a watermark on the photos. I like the idea of the logo being simply the name, with no separate 'picture' element, although I wouldn't rule it out completely.
Examples of logos I like are at: gracechon.com, brindleberrypetphoto.com, serenahphotography.com.au, jessefreidin.com, pawpixels.com, redleash.com
Thank you!!
