Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company, Cannon Creek Vineyard located in Texas. We grow grapes for wine making. Our objective is to make and sell our own wine from Estate and Texas grown grapes. The design should communicate a Texas country farm theme -- easy going, laid back, big as Texas. Not cowboy/western and not traditional European.

Our style would be more traditional. We like old-time script font styles as "United States Declaration of Independence". Does not have to be exact, but most important it needs to be legible.

We like colors of deep purple and rich red (e.g. cabernet).

Not opposed to incorporating a civil war style cannon. Or even just the barrel like on the Texas Gonzales Flag.
