Logo Design Brief
We seek a logo to represent the crimes against human dignity committed by totalitarian regimes and movements in the 20th Century. Take inspiration from the powerful visual propaganda of Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, and Maoist China (for examples: http://info-poland.buffalo.edu/socrealism/tot/index.html). The result will be used for a virtual victims memorial from the perspective of the physical places where atrocities occurred (concentration camps, mass graves, gulags, laogai (re-education camps), revolutionary courts, political prisons). The design should emphasize place.
