Our Background:
Our company - Activation Energy - pays electricity consumers (most industrial clients) to reduce their national grid electricity demand at peak demand periods during the day. We recieve payments from the national grid operator for managing the national demand reduction and we pass these incentives on to end users when they reduce their demand. This concept or business sector is called "Demand Side Management" in the energy world but many non energy specialists (our prospective clients for example) would not be familiar with this term.
Our Logo Requirements:
1) The logo should be targeted at a professional B2B audience (mostly engineers and finance professionals in large industrial/commercial companies rather than domestic consumers)
2) The service we provide consists of collecting data from clients, communicating switch on/switch off commands for energy equipment. Please see www.activationenergy.ie and www.aedsu.com for an indication of same.
3) The logo will be incorporated in both our website and printed material. With regard to use as a printed letterhead, it should come out well on a white background. So, for example, if a stong blue colour is used, this will likely have to be faded at the edges to look well on a white paper background.
Thanks and good luck!
