Logo Design Brief

I need a simple, modern, classy logo. If colors are used, I like grays, mid to darker blues and purples. (in combination.) I don't like the " cartoon" style. If an animal is used, I prefer eagles or wolves. Attached is the front page of my website. The logo ,will be in top left hand corner and has to be seen on the black background but also be able to be used on a white background (invoices, business cards etc.) Maybe the black can fade or use a gradient to go into the logo. These are suggestions, not required. If more details are needed, please let me know. Thanks. Pete
