Web Design Brief
Sprigs’ current web (http://sprigs.com) site was implemented in 2012 and needs to be brought up to date with look and feel of our new packaging and logo. The layout of Sprigs’ website is fairly consistent from page to page; utilizing only two very similar “templates” or “themes.”
Project Description:
Sprigs is seeking a designer to gain inspiration from our new packaging, design and recent print ad and create a new look for our website (http://sprigs.com); focusing on the wallpaper, background, navigation bars/buttons, header and footer. Additionally, Sprigs needs a new “style” for the images used in the slideshow on the homepage as well as the banner images on the product category/subcategory pages.
It is important that element height/width and positioning of elements (such as the "feature" boxes on the homepage, navigation bar, and banner images) within the pages are not changed in the new design. In other words, this project is solely focused on the overall design, not the specific layouts of each page.
Attached are:
* a zip file of JPEG examples of our new packaging;
* a pdf copy of a print ad we recently used for an industry tradeshow;
* a zip file with 2 JPEGS of images used in our booth at the above mentioned tradeshow;
* a JPEG of our new logo;
* a JPEG of the Background used on our new packing.
The model images that can be used in the mock-up of the new homepage slideshow but please do not feel as though you need to use the models in your banner mock-up. If you use your own models (stock images are OK,) please try to incorporate our products on the models.This will help us get a realistic sense of your direction.
Updates
I am very encouraged by the examples I am seeing. Thank you to those who have contributed and to those still working on it, please do! This is by no means a done deal with any one design.
