Logo Design Brief
We need a bold, creative logo for our aircraft maintenance business based in Australia. We maintain both fixed wing light aircraft (King Air B200 and under - if you don't know what this is, please use google, we don't look after 737's or A320's) and we also maintain Rotary Wing (Helicopters) under 3500KG's. We don't want to see jets or large 10+ passenger carrying helicopters in our logo please.
Some models of aircraft we maintain that might help you in your design is - Cessna 100 and 200 series, Mooney M20 series, Piper Cherokee, warrior, navajo, cheiftain, Cessna 208B, Beechcraft Bonanza, A36, Beechcraft King Air (B200), Robinson R22, R44 & R66 helicopters, AS350 Squirrels, B206 Jet Ranger, MD500, EC120, EC135.
Colours must present well on a white vehicle background and also must be able to be used on Navy blue work shirts. We would also like logo to showcase somehow the fact that we maintain both aeroplanes and helicopters, the logo must not be photographic due to the need for it to transpose across to embroidery on clothing.
Updates
Guys & girls, some really good designs coming through but I just wanted to reiterate on the brief so you don't waste your time. Please, no reversed lettering as the reversed b looks too much like the number 88 which in aviation terms is bad. Please read the brief and understand that we do not maintain large jets or airliners, there is a list of aircraft in the brief for your reference and research. Added Sunday, May 1, 2016

Requirements
Must have
- Must be able to flow across a range of mediums (vehicle signage, clothing, website, letterhead etc..)
Nice to have
- Colour palette should relate well to aviation ie. blue skies, greys, corporate.... Or surprise me :)
Should not have
- COMIC SANS, Cartoon style, large jets, airliners or large 10+ passenger carrying helicopters. The letter B reversed ie db as it looks too much like 88 in which aviation terms is bad. Thanks.
