Logo Design Brief
We need a new logo for OPREVENT2. OPREVENT2 is a multi-component obesity and diabetes prevention program that will work in six American Indian communities (in New Mexico and Wisconsin) in the USA. The program works with families (adults, children), food stores, work sites and with local policymakers to improve the food and physical activity environment. I am uploading the previous program logo, as well as a poster that used the logo. The new logo should include many of the design elements of the previous logo -- so people can see a connection. It needs to bring in the idea of food, physical activity, policy, social media, etc. Key themes in American Indian communities is respect, tradition, support for elders, family. Do NOT send cartoons of American Indians! These would likely be considered very insulting. I look forward to working with the winner!
Updates
Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Apologies for the delay in making a final decision for the OPREVENT2 design contest. I am working in 8 different Native American communities and have multiple staff, each with their own opinions. Its taking longer to reach a final decision than originally thought. Best, Joel
