Logo Design Brief

Need a logo for a company called" Awesome Scooters ". Its in a town called Gainesville, Florida home to the University of Florida. Our market is geared towards selling and servicing scooters for students. Not sure if we want to go with the typical orange and blue theme of campus, or try something different and unique. We also had played with the idea of adding some kind of mascot to the logo possibly a animal, not a required feature though. If you were a student or parents of a student intrested in the purchase of a scooter, what logo would attract your eye?
