Web Design Brief

We have a current website but have had a complete redesign of our logo and look. We need to bring the site up to scratch with this new look and feel.

Mookie Brief


I have attached the concept document.

• Mookies – Motivational Cookies are the reinvented fortune cookie. Individually wrapped cookies with a motivational message stuck on the outside. They are fun, often cheeky, thought provoking and yum.

• Initially we want to focus on just the adult quote range but will over time add the Mookie kids range. Where we are at at the moment is we have the concept for the Mookie kids but are lining up a graphic artist to design individual pictures for the kids range. We do not own the ones for the kids pics at the moment so are unable to use those specific ones.

• If however you are able to source almost identical ones that we can use for the website without any licensing issues then please feel free to talk to me about this and send some examples.

• We are only at this stage selling in bulk boxes of 60 Mookies so want a simple shopping cart where we can add to over time. The long term goal is retail.

• I post a quote daily on facebook and have a long winded manual process where I then upload on to linkedin, pinterest, and twitter. I would like to be able to load a quote of the day on to our website and it updates all the rest for me. On FB, Pinterest and Twitter we are Mookiecookies.

• I would also like to be able to use this as a blog – assume it’s the same thing if I am uploading a picture.

• I would like something clean and funky and something we can build on especially when we start going down the path of the kids mookies as I would in the long term like to get an interactive site for kids to play on and we have all the characters on our Mookies for the kids to play with.

Based on how we go we may look to crowdfund, so think about this possibility as we will want the website to link in to that if need be.

I am not a control freak and love people whose imagination runs wild. The only restraints I have are the colours that are in the uploaded PDF, the logos used and fonts the designers have selected. The main one used on the quote labels is Avian Bold.
