Logo Design Brief

We need a logo re-design for an established photography business based in Southwest Florida called "mayr photography". We are expanding our services from architectural & interior design photography geared towards real estate agents, architects and interior designer into adding artistic fine art offerings geared to local vacationers as souvenirs to order online during their trip to Florida.

Our existing logo design (see www.RSW360.com) is not suitable anymore as it is to much geared towards architecture and our parent company (a real estate brokerage). It just doesn't suggest photography in the mock-up.

The new logo shall position "mayr photography" a little further away from the real estate brokerage and showcase a more personal, independent, artist inspired, contemporary, minimalist clean look photography business with a logo mock-up hinting towards an artist inspired photography business, not a real estate one.

Such move could e.g, but doesn't have to show a personal signature or initials (AM) abbreviation in the mock-up, if used with watermarking photographs for an artistic touch. A file illustrating this path is attached, but the handwriting is not necessarily "artsy" enough and maybe can be much better solved by you (the designer).

Other ideas may include any mock-ups suggesting photography (camera, lens, shutter, etc.).

The logo design should also fit in a more landscape format as required by our website provider. Be clean enough to be usable on Polo-shirt embroidery. Be usable in inverse and semi-transparent versions for watermarking on white or colored back-grounds.
