Logo Design Brief
We are rebranding an existing restaurant and need a new logo. Our restaurant is a Spanish Inspired Filipino restaurant. Our current name is Calle Real. And we will be rebranding as Comida Fiesta. We previously were located in Lucky Plaza (in Singapore this is a hang out for maids and foreign laborers) as a quick fast food place. We are now located in Changi Business Park and are appealing to a broader crowd, professional clientele - hence the rebranding. The concept is a nice sit-down air conditioned restaurant, with a fun and festive atmosphere with good food. We are proud of our cuisine and prepare everything fresh daily.
The colours of the previous logo was brown and yellow. We wish to avoid these colours so we have a distinctive new look. Take a look at the pictures attached of the current logo, and the restaurant - so you get a feel for the atmosphere. On the left side of the restaurant it is blue color with wooden accents. On the right side of the restaurant it is yellow color with specially commissioned pictures that are important to the Filipino culture.
We have an outside area, where we can also host events, like wedding receptions, birthday parties. We want our restaurant to be their community center and "home away from home".
On Friday, we highlight our tapas menu, to attract the business crowd who wishes to have a few drinks and unwind after work. We serve wine, beer with the tapas.
We also have online ordering and deliver to the entire island.
Target Market(s)
We are appealing to a larger market than in the past. Whilst most of our existing customers are Filipino, we want to highlight the Spanish aspect of the cuisine and get more Singaporeans, Europeans & Expats who might be familiar with Spanish food.

Contact Information for Business Card
on the first of the card is the typical name, title, address of the person. On the back - we need ideas of what can be helpful to put. Should we put our map location and how to get here ? Should we put automatic discount if they show the business card ? We are open to ideas of what other business have done to generate new business.

Requirements
Must have
- Logo must be easily recognisable. We will replace to the current lighted sign on the exterior, so the font must lend itself to a logo that can be lighted from behind. One of the attached pictures show the current logo and how it is lighted.
- We like the wording "Spanish Inspired Filipino Cuisine" and wish to keep it.
Nice to have
- Whilst the lighted sign looks nice on the wall, we notice the logo gets lost on our menu and also external signs. For example - in the building where we are located, there are 10 other restaurants - our logo is the hardest to read from a distance and not easily recognisable.
Should not have
- Should not look like the current logo or website. Need a different image that reflects our target audience.
