Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for a new restaurant based in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. The restaurant is located at Knoebels Three Ponds Golf Course and adjacent to Knoebels Amusement Resort (home to a local amusement park, golf course, campground, and waterpark) in central Pennsylvania. www.knoebels.com The Nickel Plate Train came to knoebels in 1940.

I would like to include a sketch of the train or some piece of it in the logo. The final design should exude, heritage, tradition, but in a vintage/trendy way.

The Knoebels Three Ponds Golf Club logo does not need to be included, but more for a reference.

The restaurant itself will feature earth tones, wood grains, some patina and pieces of old ride parts and nostalgic elements.
