Logo Design Brief

We need a design for our food truck and catering business called "The Smoke Factory BBQ". Ideally we would like a logo somehow incorporating fire branded wood and stamped metal as well.....see the attached ideas below. We would like to limit the font colors to black red and gray. We would like to avoid anything "animated or cartoon" looking and want simple, easily readable font. Crisp and clean is what we are looking for....nothing too hokey or overdone like smoke and flames or a pig.
