Logo Design Brief

I am looking for an upmarket logo for a ski holiday business called Verbier Exclusive. The business will run a portfolio of luxury chalets in the ski resort of Verbier in the Swiss Alps. Verbier Exclusive will operate during the winter, offering ski holidays to discerning clients with top-of-the-range accommodation and service. Verbier has established itself as the premier ski resort in the Alps, attracting both the super rich, and extreme skiers alike, lured by Verbier's extensive and challenging skiing, dramatic mountain vistas and hip and varied nightlife. I want the logo to communicate that Verbier Exclusive is the number one chalet business in Verbier.

• I have an open mind! The only priority is that Verbier Exclusive is very legible. In the future, the business may branch out to villa holidays in places like the Caribbean. So if one day I was to set up, for example, Trinidad Exclusive, I would want the word "Exclusive" in the Trinidad Exclusive logo to be the identical font, colour and size as the word "Exclusive" in the Verbier Exclusive logo, so there is consistency across the whole brand.

• I can''t decide if I want a wordmark logo like Bramble Ski''s, or Ski Verbier''s, or a pictoral/combination logo like:

• I'm totally 50/50 on this.  If we were to go for a pictoral logo, I would obviously want to be able to swap the pictoral part of the Verbier Exclusive logo (be it a mountain, snowflake, set of ski tracks, pair of skis, skier etc) with a shell, turtle, palm tree etc, when Trinidad Exclusive eventually sets up.

• Verbier''s mountain vistas are recognisable around the world, so if you felt a silouette of one of Verbier''s panoramas might look better on your logo than a picture, I''ve attached 2 of the resort''s main mountain backdrops to this form to help.
