Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for our company DESIGNATED SPORTS. We produce a line of apparel which targets personal and team sports as well as active outdoor enthusiasts. We need a design that includes the name DESIGNATED SPORTS in a contemporary style that also incorporates a symbolic icon that graphically represents the active lifestyle that represents our market. The icon needs to be strong enough to stand alone for future brand identity. This new logo must also work as a strong tee shirt design for use in our logo wear.

Requirements

Must have

• Must be graphically interesting, but simple. We like the use of negative space. Need so work well small, as in business card, etc. as well as large when used on tee shirts, etc. Must work as a single color as well as no more than a 3 color design. Must include a symbolic icon that works as a stand alone identity element.

Should not have

• Must not be complicated, or complex. Less is better. Please do not submit designs from your portfolio that have nothing to do with this project.
