Logo Design Brief

CooperJones MFI is a new microfinance company based in the Botswana capital, Gaborone. Our first line of business is Microlending, in which we provide short term, low interest loans of up to $5000 to working class individuals or business entrepreneurs.

We place a lot of emphasis on providing value to our customers, i.e service that meet the specific needs of our customers, at the right time, for the right cost. What distinguishes us from our competitors is that we offer very short term loans, from as short as 3 days up to six months, depending on a customer's needs. Interest on our loans accrue at the rate of 0.65% per day, so the total interest charged on a loan depends on the term of the loan. Unlike our competitors, we have great flexibility, allowing early settlement of loans, with no penalties on borrowers. Major competitors in the country include http://www.letshego.com/ and http://bayportbotswana.com/. There are also many small unregistered microlenders charging in some cases exploitative interest rates. Our customer are typically aged 26-55.

We have no specific imagery or color preferences. We need a new logo that communicates safety, class, integrity, and value. Our logo, or any of its variations will be used on advertising boards, buildings, newspaper adverts, fliers, stationary, on the web, and on T-shirts, uniforms etc.
