Logo Design Brief

Our brand is " 42 SOUTH ".
We make high quality, durable rugby jerseys (cotton sweaters with collars).
We need a logo which is an image, to go with " 42S " and the brand name " 42 SOUTH ". We already have some ideas; please see the attached file.
The logo will be embroidered on the chest of each rugby jersey, and only approx. 20mm X 20mm. Our clothing has multi-coloured stripes, which will change with each rugby jersey design (the logo will be placed on different colours depending on the style of each jersey). Therefore the logo should be one or two strong colours.
Preferred colours to choose from are navy blue, light blue cherry red and white.
The design should be strong, classic and imply very high quality.

Must have

• Strong, simple image to be positioned sometimes with text "42 SOUTH", and sometimes stand alone.
• (Like the crocodile for Lacoste, which sometimes stands alone, and is sometimes positioned with the word 'LACOSTE'.)

Nice to have

• Simple animal silhoutte/shape.
• Or nautical shape.
• Or the red and blue international nautical flag for "Turning Starboard".

Should not have

• More than two colours.
• Yellow, Orange, Green, Purple, Brown, Pink, Metallics.
