Logo Design Brief

Need a logo design for a IVF / fertility assistance company that is warm/ loving, yet clean and professional also. My mum started the company and is basically and angel in her clients eyes and she helps them every step of the way and really does make there dreams come true (helps to create a family) (have babies) A large % of the clients are made up of the gay community also so I cannot have a (woman and man) in the logo. It needs to suit all types of families (I have given example of current logo being used)
I would like the logo to be mainly a light blue but open to ideas.?maybe some green/orange
