Logo Design Brief
We would like to create a visual treatment (not necessarily a full logo) for our theme - IABC/Chicago: Expand Your World.
IABC/Chicago is the International Association of Business Communicators, an association of PR, marketing communications, internal communications, HR communications and other communications professionals.
It will need to complement the visual treatment of the IABC national theme: Be Heard. You can see this at www.iabc.com. It will also need to complement the IABC/Chicago logo which can be found at: http://chicago.iabc.com/
We will use the visual treatment on the chapter website, fliers, signage, social media outlets, etc. While we want it to appeal to all members of various ages, a big target for us will be younger professionals (under 35 years old). So the visual treatment should be modern and cool.
The "Expand Your World" theme plays off the fact that IABC membership allows you to expand your expertise; gives you access to colleagues around the world; and that Chicago will play host to the IABC World Conference in 2012. That said, a big emphasis is on the word "Your" - members of IABC have to be active in the association to get teh most benefit, and we want to emphasize that the individuals who are active in IABC get great benefit.
