Logo Design Brief

The task is to create a logo & brand image for Philippa Loan, Registered Psychiatrist, who works mainly with young people (aged 4-18). philia.nz is the domain for email and web.

We have uploaded a logo for philia which is pinched off Google Images. Do not copy this file (obviously) but we do like the general idea of a funky multi-colour logo in a mixed up font style. Sort of a Google logo idea. Children come in all sorts of shapes and styles with a kaleidoscope of issues. Everyone is unique. A logo that respects that diversity and makes everyone feel comfortable is what we are looking for, and where "it's OK", not matter what it is.

Note that we do not require an envelope design, only logo and business card. It would be highly inappropriate to send a posted letter with the logo on it as this is a very confidential service.

We are intending to print business cards (Premium), Letterhead (A4 size) and Note pads (A5) with Vistaprint.

Target Market(s)

Young people aged 4 to 18, and their parents. It will be the parents who get to choose whether or not to use Philippa, but the patients (aged 4-18) must also feel comfortable with the visualisation of the service.
