Logo Design Brief
We need a logo designed for a new personal training business based in Sydney, called "Booty Barbell Club". The business offers one-on-one personal training and group sessions in a gym and also outdoor setting. Our demographic is women aged between 20-40 years old who want to get fit, healthy and become curvy in all of the right places. We focus on strength and conditioning, weightlifting and body sculpture in a fun, empowering and energetic environment.
Below are some preferences on colour palette, typeface, style and feel:
* BRIGHT colours - teal/turquoise, purple, fuschia/magenta against a CONTRAST of white.
* Play with overlapping GRADIENTS, SHADED colours.
* A mix of fluid/artistic, organic and linear lines.
* SIMPLE, slick and CLEVER DESIGN - the use of NEGATIVE SPACE is very appealing to us. We do not want overly cartoon-like imagery or anything too obvious and gimmicky.
* Typeface should be clear and flat yet have a PERSONAL/handmade or caligraphy/BRUSH PEN feel (but not too busy and scrawling that it is hard for the eye to interpret) and not too boxy, overpowering or masculine.
* A MODERN and sophisticated feel yet still inviting and FRIENDLY.
Attached are some logos/typeface from another project for an Athlete/Fitness Model - Shelley Darlington. We would like the design for Booty Barbell Club to compliment these, but it does not have to be the same in any way.
The final design should be UPLIFTING and be able to communicate VITALITY, POWER and a sense of FUN.
