We are a men's and women's boutique looking for contemporary script (cursive) logo ideas. We would like it to be simple, clean and a bit playful. Not too perfect, but not too messy. We imagine it to be black or dark grey, but are open to other ideas. Here are some we have seen and what we do/do not like about them: Pintrest.com (a little too perfect), builtbywendy.com (good, maybe a bit feminine for our needs), robertaspizza.com (I like this one, maybe a bit messy).
Updates
Thanks to everybody who submitted designs for our project, we are happy with the huge response and see some great designs. We are going to start the process of eliminating designs that will not work for us and contacting designers from whom we would like to see minor changes. We will continue to look at new designs until the deadline (midnight tonight I believe). Thank you to all designers for your time and effort.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We have extended the deadline in order to reach out to the designers of the logos we liked the best. If your design is one of the finalists, we will contact you shortly to discuss any revisions that we would like to see. We will still take new submissions for the next two days. Thank you!!

Requirements
Must have
- written in cursive
Nice to have
- We like the idea of it looking more handwritten, more like a signature, less like a font.
We are open to capitalizing or not capitalizing (penelope's) the first P.
I have attached our current logo and a hand written one for inspiration.
