Logo Design Brief

I am Director of Sports Medicine for USA Volleyball and I need a logo for my new website...sportsmedatc.com. The mission is to educate, collaborate, and inspire. It's intended audience is sports medicine and sports performance professionals. It could evolve into medical and performance topics for athletes as well. My vision is "to serve the sports medicine and performance community by facilitating collegial interactions and promoting personal and professional development." I like to focus on leadership as well as specific medical topics. Audio interviews/podcasts and a written blog will also be included. This will be more about the mission than me but it will serve as my personal website as well. My nickname is AB. I don't like to take myself too serious and want to have fun with this project...not taking it overly serious yet having the content be relevant. I like red/white/blue since I've been involved with Team USA for quite some time. I'm open to all colors however.
