Hi,

I'm June, an Illustrator and Visual Designer.

This is a very interesting job! Wanna make sure if this is your website: www.pauleycreative.co.uk?

I also wonder if you could put the payment higher for the 1st place - what I see here is $60 - which is slightly less attractive than other infographic design jobs that I've done before.

Thank you very much.

JB

Hi June

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes pauleycreative.co.uk is our website.

We set the payment based on what Design Crowd suggested. It has cost us £150 to submit the project. This is our first time using Design Crowd so we are a little apprehensive about offering a higher rate. Hopefully if it works out we will make some good connections with designers we can use on a freelance basis going forward and will not have to go through Design Crowd.

I do hope you can submit your designs.

Cheers
Craig

Thanks Craig. I'll see what I can do. This is an interesting project and I'd love to be a part of it. :)

Cheers,

Hi,
DesignCrowd is interested in getting a lot of customers. So they offer dump prices hoping for a lot of designers taking part at abysmally wages. (And take %.)
As far as I am concerned, I wouldnt download and read more than 4 attachments just to decide whether I want to take part at a contest with unknown hours of work and max. getting 60,-

Hi Bilder

Thank you for your comment. Most of the attachments are assets to help the designer and hopefully save time. If you want to know about the Project then just download the design brief document and have a read. The rest are mainly assets.

I'm surprised that design crowd are only saying this job is £60 for the winner given I paid £150. Does that mean they are taking £90 for themselves (67%)?!!? That's a big cut.

Maybe your concerns should be raised with design crowd in that case?

Cheers
Craig

Hello,
I really would like to participate this one,
so I downloaded all the attachments and read all pdfs very carefully.
What I don't understand is, you said the logos have to be used when the companies are mentioned,
but in your charts I can't find any name of the companies.
Am I supposed to search the logos and find out what kind of company is that?

Thank you.

Soo

Hey Craig,

2 questions:

Do you want to include the "digital marketing strategy" in the infographic? If yes, I am afraid it may need some amendments to be a good fit in the new graphic style that I am creating.

I found the brands where the logos should go - except for ITV and the blocky 4. Can you recommend which parts of the route I can find these brands?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Soo

Company logos are all attached so where these names are mentioned you should add a graphic as well. For example where it says Google add their logo.

Other companies are...

Leading Edge
TV - ITV, 4, BBC, Grand Designs
Glenigan
Barbour
NBS
ESI
Print Publications
Online Publications
CRM - Salesforce
CPA

If you use these for now then that should be enough.

Cheers
Craig

Hi JB

The Digital Marketing Strategy was just to give you an idea of what we have had created in the past.

ITV and 4 are TV channels so should be where TV is mentioned.
